I'm assuming that the current discussions about the various Super-8 forums will be slightly helpful and constructive in the bigger picture. I hope the regular posters here understand that lifetime bans are quite different than banning someone for a period of time. (for the record, I have done neither on this forum, ever.)

As time goes on, and bans turn into lifetime bans, the lifetime bans need to be kept in the spotlight as a reminder that lifetime banners should be examined as to what their real motivation is, especially when the lifetime banning they have imposed diminishes the exchange of useful information about a craft or passion.
